Context
NT Sessions is the project by Novo Traço that puts the Orquestra Novo Traço side by side with essentially urban artists. Each edition is a collab: the artist's repertoire gets orchestral arrangements, is recorded in a session and becomes an EP on streaming platforms, with video on YouTube.
L7NNON and Papatinho, MC Pedrinho and Froid have all taken part. Beyond the digital format, NT Sessions has a live version, which premiered at the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro.
Identity
The logo comes from the same gesture as the parent brand: the letters N and t painted by hand, held in a frame like a seal, with SESSIONS on a solid band. It works as a stamp, so it can sign any cover, screen or post without competing with the artist.
The covers share a single language: grainy black and white photography, collage cut-outs, a yellow outline and a hand-drawn stroke running through the composition. Each artist gets their own world, but the whole collection is recognizable from afar.

MC Pedrinho
Four of MC Pedrinho's funk tracks, recorded with the orchestra at Sonastério studio. The covers mix the street and the concert hall: everyday cars and the conductor's baton, a violin in place of the microphone, a tube TV and the crowd at a baile.
Froid
In the Froid edition, the grain and high contrast become denser and more introspective: his profile against yellow brushstrokes, sheet music reflected in his lenses, a violin among mirror shards and the artist sitting in a window floating in the clouds.
NT Sessions Live
The first live edition brought L7NNON, Papatinho and the orchestra to the stage of the Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro. Tickets, at R$ 5, sold out in under 15 minutes, and the show was streamed live on YouTube.
On stage, the identity became set design: header, LED panels and screen animated with the hand-drawn strokes, the logo and the artists' names, in a yellow and blue on black system that plays off the theater's architecture.
